The local area
Histon is an idyllic and leafy village just a short drive away from the historic city of Cambridge. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of heading over to the village duck pond after your meal, meander along the river, passing beautiful thatched houses and checking out a number of independent shops along the way. Or head into Cambridge for punting, shopping and a range of historical and educational beauties to feast your eyes on. For those into sports, there are lots of hiking, rambling and cycling paths nearby. Or you could even get in touch with the local pétanque club who practice in the expansive garden of The Boot!
